It’s understood that a representative from the company clarified that the session was not intended to replace a formal owners’ meeting.
Instead, he said Hop On is seeking legal advice to arrange an official owners’ meeting that ensures full compliance and procedural fairness.
The firm stressed that such meetings should not be rushed to avoid potential disputes over the quorum and the validity of proxies.
A second online briefing is scheduled for May 20.
