Xiaomi has announced the global open-sourcing of its flagship MiMo-V2.5-Pro and multimodal MiMo-V2.5 models, alongside the launch of the MiMo Orbit program to accelerate AI ecosystem growth.
The MiMo Orbit program includes a ‘Trillion-Token Creator Incentive Plan,’ offering 100 trillion free tokens within 30 days to lower barriers for developers, and an ‘Agent Ecosystem Co-Building Plan’ providing limited free model access for global Agent framework teams.

On the first day of open source, MiMo-V2.5-Pro achieved deep adaptation with major chipmakers including AWS, Alibaba T-Head, AMD, Baidu Kunlun, Enflame, Moore Threads, and TianShu AI, as well as immediate compatibility with SGLang and vLLM inference frameworks.
According to Xiaomi, MiMo-V2.5-Pro is its most advanced model to date, excelling in generalized intelligence, complex software engineering tasks, and long-term mission handling, debuting at the top of the Artificial Analysis global open-source large model rankings.
The company said the initiative aims to accelerate global AI adoption and foster a robust developer ecosystem by providing large-scale subsidies and immediate accessibility for local deployment and secondary development.
