Hong Kong–listed Xiaomi Group (1810.HK) has expanded the closed beta of its AI assistant Xiaomi Miclaw to personal computers, Macs, and smart displays, the company announced on Monday. The move marks a key step in Xiaomi’s ‘Human-Car-Home Ecosystem’ strategy by enabling cross-device memory sharing and task continuity.
Miclaw, built on Xiaomi’s self-developed MiMo large language model, first launched in closed beta on smartphones in early March. With the latest update, it now supports five platforms including phones, tablets, PCs, Macs, and smart displays. The AI assistant allows one-click installation, includes preloaded skills and third-party services, and supports custom skill creation for personalized use.
The upgrade highlights cross-device memory and task synchronization, allowing users to seamlessly switch between devices and remotely control Xiaomi hardware. The AI also integrates with the Mi Home ecosystem, enabling autonomous device management as part of the company’s broader AI deployment plan.
