The chairwoman of Gree Electrics on Saturday said private enterprises need continuous innovation and technological investment to thrive.
Dong Mingzhu, who’s also a deputy to the National People’s Congress (NPC), said the country has long supported private enterprises through various forms of assistance.
Speaking to reporters in Beijing, Dong said her company’s trade-in policy helps consumers gain a better understanding of household appliances and improves safety awareness.
Xiang Wenbo, NPC deputy and chairman of SANY Heavy Industry, which earlier announced plans to list in Hong Kong, said the timing is favourable given the current capital market conditions.
Xiang added that he believes listing in the SAR will speed up his company’s international development.
