TOKYO, June 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Nippon Express (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “NX Vietnam”), a group company of NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, INC., held an opening ceremony for the Dinh Vu Logistics Center (Phase II) in Hai Phong City in northern Vietnam on Tuesday, May 20.

Hai Phong City is an important port city in northern Vietnam and home to the deep-water port of Hai Phong, an international hub that furnishes logistical access to all parts of the world and serves as a gateway to northern Vietnam. Many industrial parks concentrated in the surrounding area comprise a key industrial zone where Japanese and other foreign manufacturing companies as well as local firms have established operations.

The Dinh Vu Logistics Center was launched in 2015 with the opening of the Phase I Center. The Phase II Center now in operation features a constant-temperature storage room and an extensive air-conditioning system to control temperature and humidity, providing an optimal environment for storing high-value-added products such as medical equipment and electronic devices by keeping the humidity constantly below 70%. To improve work efficiency, the cargo handling area and dock yard have been designed with large pillarless roofs to enable efficient operations even in rainy weather.
