During the dispute, the man allegedly said that his 13-year-old son’s luggage contained a bomb.
Police said the airline employee reported the incident at about 8.30 pm. Officers arrived at the scene and allegedly found the man to be in possession of a switchblade, a stun gun, and two suspected e-cigarettes.
Officers then arrested him on suspicion of breach of the Aviation Security Ordinance, possession of offensive weapons, possession of imitation firearms, and possession of Part I poisons.
Police said no one was injured, and no evacuation was needed.
