Hong Kong, September 29, 2025 — Keeta Drone, a subsidiary of Meituan (3690.HK), announced a comprehensive upgrade of its regular delivery services in Hong Kong, signaling a major step forward in the city’s low-altitude logistics. The initiative includes route optimization, the introduction of an automated M-Port airport at Tai Po Waterfront Park, and improved delivery efficiency, aimed at enhancing convenience and smart consumption experiences while contributing to Hong Kong’s growing low-altitude economy.
The new Tai Po route replaces the previous Ma On Shan service, targeting higher-demand areas and connecting with a broader merchant base. At the same time, the automated M-Port drone airport provides weatherproof and secure storage, allowing users to retrieve orders anytime with a code, while reducing on-site staff workload. Supported by regulatory sandbox approval, Keeta Drone can now deploy multiple drones simultaneously, cutting wait times for large group orders by more than half. The company said it plans to expand coverage to more communities and business districts, collaborate with local universities on research, and cultivate local talent to further support Hong Kong’s smart city development.
