Hong Kong, 27 November 2025 – J&T Express (1519.HK) has announced a donation of HK$10 million to support emergency relief efforts following the deadly fire that broke out at multiple residential buildings at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, which has resulted in serious casualties and extensive property damage.
The donation will be used to support emergency resettlement of affected residents, basic living needs, psychological support services and post-disaster recovery work, with the aim of helping the community overcome immediate difficulties as quickly as possible. At the same time, the company has opened a dedicated green logistics channel to Hong Kong to prioritise the transportation of relief materials, helping ensure that supplies can arrive in the city as promptly as possible.
J&T Express extends its deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in the fire, and its sincere sympathies to the families and communities affected. The company also pays high tribute to all firefighters and frontline personnel who are working tirelessly in the rescue and relief efforts.
The company said it will continue to closely follow the progress of the relief and reconstruction work in Tai Po, and will work hand in hand with different sectors of the community to support the district’s recovery, with the hope that the local community can be rebuilt soon and residents may resume safe and stable lives.
