AI-Powered Restaurant Review Management Secures Six Brand Clients in Six Months; Autonomous Aquaculture Vessel Slashes Labor Needs by 70%
TAIPEI, Oct. 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — HAOSHi Accelerator hosted its ninth Demo Day at Taipei 101 on October 20, bringing together 16 startups from Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong under the theme “FOOD / EVOLVED: Technology and the Future of Food.” The participating teams showcased innovations spanning AI-driven supply chain management, smart agriculture and aquaculture, circular materials, and food and health technologies.

HAOSHi Demo Day 9 brought together Silicon Valley venture capital firm AgFunder and 16 startups from Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong to showcase the latest technologies and solutions shaping the future of food and agriculture.
Among the standout startups, EO Insights uses AI to manage Google Maps reviews for restaurant chains and has secured six restaurant brand clients in just six months. SimplyCarbs streamlines corporate meal ordering and delivery, having served customers more than 1.5 million times to date. EZ Aquaculture has developed an autonomous vessel that cuts labor requirements in aquaculture operations by approximately 70%. The company also earned the Premier’s Award in this year’s Startup Bloom – Entrepreneurship Alliance Competition, an initiative backed by Taiwan’s National Development Council.
In food and health innovation, Space Ark Bio uses microbial fermentation to transform soybean residue into functional pet food ingredients, turning an agricultural byproduct into a value-added resource. The company recently placed among the top three in a competition organized by Mars Petcare, one of the world’s leading pet nutrition and care businesses. Space Ark Bio is also one of the startups receiving targeted support this year from the Small and Medium Enterprise and Startup Administration under Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs.
The event also featured the HAOSHi × O-Bank Female Entrepreneurship Competition, where O-Bank awarded startup funding to Kai Kombucha to help the women-led business reach new markets.
“Businesses and investors are increasingly focused on whether innovative technologies can cut costs, improve efficiency and generate revenue,” said Amber Lin, CEO of the HAOSHi Foundation. She identified two defining themes among this year’s startups: intelligent supply chains and innovation in how food is produced and consumed.
Having now held nine editions of Demo Day, HAOSHi Accelerator has supported more than 100 startups to date. This year, it has intensified efforts to connect startups with real-world corporate needs while expanding partnerships in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. HAOSHi is also making its first move into the U.S. market, with distribution-channel testing scheduled for November to help Taiwanese startups gauge overseas demand and identify opportunities for expansion.
The other 11 startups taking the stage at Demo Day were Vending Robotics, Eslitec, Farmio (Singapore), Odiva, Great Mouth, TAI-YANG, JMGO, Datien Biomedical, King Noodles, TIGA MILK (Hong Kong) and PO JEN TANG.
