Ant Health has launched a one-stop medical service platform called “Healthy Bay Area,” enabling residents of the Greater Bay Area to book hospital appointments, access online consultations, and use cloud-based medical guidance. The initiative was announced during the 2026 Greater Bay Area Healthcare Innovation Conference.
Through the Ant A-Fu app, residents in nine Pearl River Delta cities can book appointments at over 300 hospitals in Guangdong, with more than 50 hospitals in Guangzhou offering cloud companion services that provide reminders, real-time visit updates, and prescription guidance. Hong Kong and Macao residents can access the same services via Alipay, AlipayHK, and the Ant A-Fu app, initially covering about 20 hospitals, with plans to expand to over 300.
Ant Health also introduced a cross-border medical insurance claims solution in collaboration with Qianhai Big Data Resource Management Center, allowing Hong Kong policyholders to use insurance codes for automatic claim processing. The company said the initiative aims to enhance the convenience and integration of health services across the Greater Bay Area.
