Hangzhou-based Ant Group on January 20 announced a major upgrade to the PC platform of its AI-native health assistant, AQ, introducing DeepSearch for evidence-based clinical decision support. The service is free for clinicians and medical students.
DeepSearch allows healthcare professionals to access and structure large volumes of international and Chinese medical literature, including over 36 million publications, enabling faster retrieval of guidelines and research for complex case treatment planning. The tool also offers traceable citations and evidence-level filtering to align with global clinical standards.
Launched in June 2025, AQ now connects users to more than 5,000 hospitals and 300,000 licensed physicians. As of January 2026, the platform has 30 million monthly active users and processes over 10 million health-related queries daily.
