HONG KONG, Nov 2, 2026 — Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) hosted the 2026 TVB Greater Bay Area Corporate Sustainability Conference in Shenzhen, marking the first time its ESG series was held outside Hong Kong. The event, themed “Green Economy, Smart Future,” gathered representatives from government, industry, academia, research, and investment sectors to discuss ESG, green finance, and digital transformation.
Launched in 2022, the TVB ESG series includes green forums, summits, and the TVB ESG Awards, aiming to enhance awareness and collaboration on sustainable development. This year’s conference in Shenzhen sought to strengthen cross-border cooperation and extend the regional influence of ESG initiatives in the Greater Bay Area.
Speakers highlighted the strategic potential of integrating Hong Kong’s professional services and international ESG standards with the Mainland’s industrial resources. Officials emphasized that ESG practices are increasingly vital for companies seeking to expand internationally and align with green, low-carbon goals under China’s current development planning.
