Xiaomi Corp.’s AI interaction product, Xiaomi Miclaw, has received national-level certification from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), becoming one of the first mobile AI assistants to pass the institution’s benchmark tests.
The evaluation, based on CAICT’s newly released Smart Assistant Benchmark Framework, assessed core capabilities across basic functions, on-device applications, and integrated performance. Xiaomi said Miclaw performed strongly in all categories, leveraging its self-developed MiMo large model and edge-first architecture to support ecosystem-wide operations across smartphones, PCs, vehicle cabins, and IoT devices.
The company emphasized that Miclaw features a triple-layer security system to ensure user data privacy while enabling autonomous execution of complex commands. The certification marks a key step in advancing Xiaomi’s “human-car-home” AI ecosystem strategy and strengthens its competitive position in the intelligent device market.
