Equity markets were mixed and gold hit another record high on Wednesday as trade war worries cast a shadow and geopolitical concerns returned to the fore.
Hong Kong’s stock market ended higher with the benchmark Hang Seng Index up 0.12 percent to close at 24,771.14.
Bucking the overall trend, the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index dipped 0.15 percent to 9,163.67 while the Hang Seng Tech Index dropped 1.05 percent to 6,041.19. (AFP/Xinhua)
