A spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that Sharif’s visit to China is an important high-level exchange between the two countries, with this year marking the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan.
His trip will take him to the eastern city of Hangzhou, where he will participate in a business forum organised to promote cooperation between Pakistani and Chinese companies, and will attend a ceremony for the exchange of agreements and memorandums of understanding. Sharif will also visit Beijing, where he will meet President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang.
The Pakistani Prime Minister will also participate in an event marking the 75th anniversary of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations. (Xinhua/Reuters)
