A 50-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday for suspected murder and arson in the wake of a fire in Tuen Mun in which a woman lost her life.
The victim, who was of the same age, was found unconscious in a flat in Ting Fuk House, On Ting Estate, following a report to the police of a small fire at around 7am.
She suffered knife wounds and burns and was pronounced dead at Tuen Mun hospital.
The suspect, who was arrested in the flat, was injured in the hand.
