The MTR suspended parts of the light rail service in Tin Shui Wai on Saturday morning after a crane lorry damaged an overhead line near Tin Yuet at around 7.30 am.
Routes 705 and 706 will not stop between Tin Yuet and Tin Heng, and Route 751 will not stop between Chestwood and Tin Shui Wai. The MTR has laid on free shuttle buses.
Police arrested the 41-year-old crane lorry driver on suspicion of dangerous driving.
The railway operator also urged people to use other forms of public transport.
Police said no one was hurt in the incident.
