Two Young Boys Found Sitting on Window Ledge in Fanling
A dramatic rescue took place this morning (March 21) at Queen’s Hill Estate in Fanling after two young boys, aged approximately 3 and 5 years old, were seen dangerously perched on a window ledge outside a fourth-floor apartment. Bystanders immediately alerted emergency services upon witnessing the children climbing onto the exterior air-conditioning platform.
Emergency Response and Safe Rescue
Police and firefighters arrived promptly at the scene, forcibly entering the apartment to carry out the rescue. Firefighters used ropes to secure the children before safely pulling them back inside. Residents watching the scene applauded the swift action of emergency personnel. According to locals, the two boys had previously been seen playing outside unsupervised, raising concerns about their safety. Fortunately, neither child was injured in the incident.
