Hong Kong’s flagship carrier Cathay Pacific on Tuesday said it is suspending all its flights to and from Dubai and Riyadh until March 14 because of the conflict in the Middle East.
It called on customers affected who are yet to receive messages from the airline to check the latest status of their booking online.
The company said a ticket waiver policy allows customers to rebook, reroute or refund their tickets without the usual fees, and staff will help with re-booking of flights.
People who bought tickets via a travel agent or third-party website are advised to contact the companies involved to arrange refunds or flight changes.
“We’re continuing to monitor the situation closely. Further changes to our flight schedule may be needed in the coming days with the safety of our customers and people being our first priority,” a statement from the airline said.
