A 102-year-old woman, who is understood to be the mother of late singer Anita Mui, died on Sunday after she collapsed while eating.
Police were alerted at about 10am by a domestic helper who said the woman had collapsed in a flat on Leighton Road in Causeway Bay.
She was rushed to Ruttonjee Hospital in an unconscious state and later pronounced dead.
It is understood that the woman had a history of heart disease and hypertension, and required a liquid diet and regular medication.
Sources said police officers found no suspicious injuries on the woman’s body, and no suspicious objects in her residence.
