Local cyclist Chloe Leung on Thursday won a silver medal in the Asian Road Cycling Championships in Saudi Arabia.
The team Hong Kong, China member finished the individual time trial in nearly 26 minutes and 14 seconds, some nine seconds slower than Kazakhstan’s Rinata Sultanova.
China’s Zhang Hao took the bronze medal.
This was the first Asian triumph for Leung, who’s 30.
She also won gold at the Hong Kong Velodrome during the National Games last year, teaming up with Ceci Lee in the Madison race.
