Hong Kong, 1 December 2025 – OCBC Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (“OCBC Hong Kong”) and Bank of Singapore Hong Kong branch, the private banking subsidiary of OCBC, have jointly donated HKD 10 million to the Support Fund for Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po established by the HKSAR Government, following the devastating fire that struck the estate. The two institutions expressed their deepest condolences to the families affected and reaffirmed their solidarity with the Hong Kong community during this period of profound loss and hardship. OCBC Hong Kong employees had earlier contributed relief supplies, including clothing and essential daily items, to social welfare organisations for urgent distribution.
OCBC Hong Kong is also implementing a series of banking support measures for affected residents. The bank has accelerated processing for ATM and credit card replacements and waived related handling fees. Depending on each customer’s circumstances, the bank will provide grace periods for mortgage, personal loan, car loan and credit card repayments, as well as fee waivers where appropriate. For residents impacted by the fire, OCBC Hong Kong said it will assess each case individually and handle financial arrangements with flexibility and compassion.
