Dubai real estate pioneer Al Ghurair Development has unveiled Wedyan, a landmark waterfront residence and the first project under its new ultra-prime Al Ghurair Collection. The 46-storey tower is designed by acclaimed Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, known for the Japan National Stadium. Drawing inspiration from the rhythm of sand and water, the project’s layered façade embodies Kuma’s philosophy of harmonising architecture with nature.
Wedyan features 149 luxury units including penthouses and a sky villa, boasting multifunctional outdoor spaces, specialised UV-protective glazing for artworks, and Japanese teahouse-inspired pavilions. With over 65,000 sq ft of amenities, including private treatment rooms, a podcast studio, and wellness facilities, Wedyan is poised to meet soaring demand for ultra-luxury living in Dubai. Al Ghurair’s new venture reflects its six-decade legacy of shaping Dubai’s skyline and urban development.
