Beijing, Hong Kong, September 25, 2025 — Xiaomi Group (1810.HK), the consumer electronics and smart manufacturing company, unveiled a full lineup of new products at its 2025 Lei Jun Annual Speech in Beijing. Group founder, chairman and CEO Lei Jun delivered his sixth annual address under the theme ‘Change’, sharing the journey behind Xiaomi’s proprietary Xuanjie chip and the development of Xiaomi Auto. The highlight announcements included the flagship Xiaomi 17 series, Xiaomi’s first customisation service for its vehicles, the Xiaomi Pad 8 series, and new additions across the Mijia appliance and Xiaomi TV product lines.
The Xiaomi 17 Pro introduced the innovative ‘Smart Back Display,’ redefining smartphone interaction and bringing fresh possibilities for personalisation, imaging, and gaming. Alongside, Xiaomi Auto debuted a customisation service with 26 optional features covering paint, wheels, and interior trims — designed to deliver bespoke experiences comparable to luxury vehicles. These announcements reinforced Xiaomi’s ambition to merge smartphone, automotive, and smart ecosystem innovation into a unified offering.
The Xiaomi 17 series marked a global first with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Supreme Edition built on 3nm technology, promising CPU performance on par with Apple’s A19 Pro and GPU gains of over 34%. With advances in screen, battery, and imaging, Xiaomi touted the Pro lineup as a breakthrough in domestic technologies, positioning the series head-to-head against premium global competitors.
For Xiaomi Auto, the company announced its SUV model, the Xiaomi YU7, has achieved over 40,000 deliveries since July 6. Family buyers dominate its customer base, with households accounting for 69% of users and families with children representing 85%. Building on this momentum, Lei Jun announced the rollout of customisation services for the YU7 Max and SU7 Ultra models. A 400-square-metre dedicated customisation centre has been set up at the Beijing Xiaomi Auto factory store, aiming to bring luxury-grade bespoke options to a broader market.
In addition to smartphones and automobiles, Xiaomi expanded its broader ecosystem offerings. The new Mijia three-zone Pro washing machine, Pro series refrigerator with dual micro-freeze systems, and Xiaomi S Pro Mini LED 2026 TV showcased the brand’s push into high-end smart home appliances. With these launches, Lei Jun emphasised that after five years of transformation, Xiaomi has completed a fundamental reinvention — positioning itself as a leader not only in mobile phones, but in cars, homes, and across the smart technology spectrum.
