The MTR reported delays on the Tuen Ma Line on Sunday morning, although services quickly returned to normal
At around 11.30 am, the rail operator said the total travelling time for the entire line between Tuen Mun and Wu Kai Sha stations could be extended by 15 to 20 minutes due to a signalling equipment fault near Tai Wai Station.
Shortly afterwards, the MTR said the extra travelling time had been shortened to five to eight minutes.
Services returned to normal shortly after 12 pm.
