HONG KONG, March 19, 2026 — Xiaomi unveiled its next-generation SU7 electric sedan in Beijing, alongside the Xiaomi Book Pro 14 and Xiaomi Watch S5, positioning the company as a leading player in integrated smart mobility and AI-powered ecosystems.
Founder and CEO Lei Jun highlighted the vehicle’s enhanced safety and intelligence, calling the SU7 the “new generation driver’s car.” The model includes 2,200 MPa embedded anti-roll cages, nine airbags, and a triple-redundancy door handle system, exceeding China’s 2027 safety standards.
The new SU7 series is priced from RMB 219,900 to RMB 303,900. Xiaomi reported that the first-generation SU7 has sold over 380,000 units since its debut, cementing its position as China’s top-selling electric sedan in the RMB 200,000-plus segment in 2025.
Alongside the vehicle launch, Xiaomi introduced three proprietary AI large models — MiMo-V2-Pro, MiMo-V2-Omni, and MiMo-V2-TTS — with MiMo-V2-Pro ranking eighth globally on the Artificial Analysis intelligence leaderboard, surpassing xAI’s Grok in brand rankings.
Lei Jun announced that Xiaomi will invest RMB 60 billion in AI, robotics, and embodied intelligence over the next three years, as the company aims to become a fully AI-empowered “Human-Car-Home” ecosystem player in the era of AGI.
