Seventy-two nominations have been received for the 2026 Election Committee Subsector Ordinary Elections on the fourth day of the nomination period.
Returning officers received 71 nominations for candidates and one from a designated body.
They add up to a total of 756 nominations received from candidates and 12 from designated bodies since nominations began on Wednesday.
The poll, scheduled for November 22, will return a new term of the 1,500-strong Election Committee, which will elect the chief executive and 40 members of the Legislative Council.
The nomination period runs until October 20.
