HONG KONG, June 11, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Shrewsbury International School Hong Kong marked a successful collaboration with celebrated UK artist Eleanor McColl this week alongside British Consul General, Brian Davidson CMG, at the unveiling of the Year 6 Art Exhibition and a commemorative mural.

Under the guidance of Ms. McColl, Shrewsbury students explored and deployed a range of mixed media techniques to create a collection of decorative tiles demarcating their feelings of connection to Hong Kong. Acting to celebrate the school’s diverse international community and the vibrancy of the region, the resulting mural has drawn a rousing reception. “We are incredibly excited to partner with Eleanor McColl for this unique project,” said Stephen Wong, School Supervisor at Shrewsbury International School Hong Kong. “This collaboration not only enriches our students’ educational experience but also emphasises the importance of art in bringing communities together.”
