The Project SEKAI Thanks Festival Will Be Broadcast Live to Cinemas Across Japan and Overseas!
Project SEKAI 6th Anniversary Thanks Festival Live Viewing is confirmed!
TOKYO, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The two-day shows of Project SEKAI 6th Anniversary Thanks Festival will be held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium on 3rd and 4th, October 2026, and will be streamed live to cinemas in select regions in Asia.
To celebrate the 6th anniversary of the iOS/Android rhythm and adventure game Project SEKAI COLORFUL STAGE! feat. Hatsune Miku, the Project SEKAI 6th Anniversary Thanks Festival is a special annual live stage event presented in appreciation of the fans who have continued to support the game.
The festival is packed with anniversary content, including a live reading performance of an original story written exclusively for the event, as well as a talk show in which the cast looks back on memorable moments from Project SEKAI. The 6th Anniversary Special Live will feature unit songs performed by the cast, with virtual singers joining selected performances to deliver special performances celebrating the game’s 6th anniversary. In addition, DAY 1 and DAY 2 will feature different setlists, making each performance a must-see.
Presented as a special two-day event in appreciation of the fans’ support over the past six years, the festival will be broadcast live in real time to cinemas across Japan, as well as in the regions of Taiwan region, Hong Kong SAR, South Korea, Malaysia and Indonesia. Celebrate Project SEKAI’s 6th anniversary on the big screen with the powerful sound and immersive atmosphere that only cinemas can provide.
