40,000+ hotel staff trained, 700+ local employees and 110,000+ RedSeller registrations
JAKARTA, Indonesia, Aug. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — RedDoorz, Southeast Asia’s largest multi-brand hospitality and accommodation platform, is strengthening its community-focused programmes across Indonesia, creating local employment and income opportunities, developing hospitality skills and working with governments and communities to support sustainable tourism development.
For RedDoorz, community engagement goes beyond traditional corporate social responsibility. With a hotel network spanning cities and destinations across Indonesia, the company’s growth is closely connected to local property owners, hotel employees, tourism workers, entrepreneurs and the communities where its hotels operate.

Every hotel operates within a community, employs local people and contributes to the surrounding tourism economy,” said Gusti Raganata, Head of Government Relations, RedDoorz. “As RedDoorz grows, we want that growth to create opportunities beyond our hotels — through jobs, skills, entrepreneurship and stronger hospitality standards.”
Training has been mandatory for property partners joining the RedDoorz network since 2016, with more than 40,000 hotel staff trained cumulatively in hospitality operations and service standards.
RedDoorz also introduced an enhanced staff-upgrade programme at the end of 2025, which has trained more than 200 staff to date. The company aims to have trained more than 700 staff through the programme by the end of 2026.

Across more than 120 company-operated hotels, RedDoorz currently supports over 700 employees, creating employment opportunities in local communities. Since January 2026, more than 25 fresh graduates have also joined its Leadership Development Programme through quarterly intakes across different roles.
RedDoorz is enabling more Indonesians to participate in the tourism economy through RedSeller, its accommodation reseller programme launched in March 2020.
More than 110,000 people have registered, including students, homemakers, freelancers and employees who can resell accommodation across the RedDoorz network without upfront capital or previous hotel-sales experience.
Active RedSellers collectively generate more than 50,000 room bookings each month, while the highest-performing reseller has earned up to IDR13 million in commissions in a single month.
“Small progress is still progress. Don’t stop just because the results aren’t big yet. What sets people apart isn’t who is the fastest, but who keeps going,” said Arif Rahmatilah, one of RedDoorz’s top resellers who has consistently earned through the programme.
RedDoorz has collaborated with national and local governments to strengthen regional tourism capabilities. Partnerships with the Provincial Government of West Nusa Tenggara, Bank Indonesia West Nusa Tenggara and the Provincial Government of Southeast Sulawesi, together with a 2026 agreement with Wonosobo Regency, have supported tourism villages and hospitality development.
Through these collaborations, more than 20 Desa Wisata have been supported and over 1,000 tourism workers have received skills enhancement, including hospitality and digital-marketing training.
Community initiatives have also included scholarships for 12 tourism-polytechnic students and the renovation of three mosques and prayer facilities.
Safety is another key pillar of RedDoorz’s community strategy. In 2025, its fire-safety programme reached 1,000 partner properties, alongside the donation of 200 emergency fire-equipment kits.
Over the next 12–18 months, Safe Stay for All Guests will strengthen emergency preparedness and guest and child protection, while NOCs with local communities will help foster trust between residents and guests.
