A worker has died after falling from height at a construction site in Fanling at around 3pm Tuesday.
Police said the 62-year-old man was on a scaffolding, when he fell from around the fifth or sixth floor of the industrial building on On Chuen Street.
He was pronounced dead at North District Hospital.
The Labour Department said it has sent staff to the scene and is investigating the cause of the accident.
The Association for the Rights of Industrial Accident Victims said it is offering emergency support to the man’s family members.
