The Transport Department late on Wednesday announced that part of the Tuen Mun Road will be closed overnight going into Thursday for emergency road maintenance.
Specifically, the middle and slow lanes of Tuen Mun Road near Siu Hong MTR station that are bound for Yuen Long will be closed from 11.00pm on Wednesday until 5.30am on Thursday.
The middle and fast lanes for the same section of the road will be suspended from 11.00pm on Thursday until 5.30am on Friday.
The closures follow a water main burst on Tuesday night, which caused a suspension of water supply to parts of Tuen Mun.
The department urged members of the public to stay tuned to radio and television broadcasts for the latest traffic updates.
