Servo, a new cafe by the team behind the Michelin-starred Arcane, has quietly opened in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, offering an unexpected fusion of refined cuisine and casual café ambience. With mains priced under HK$150, it represents a rare find in a city where gourmet often comes at a premium.
The 50-seat space occupies a former auto-repair workshop, which explains its name. The interiors strike a minimalist industrial tone with polished concrete floors and curved counters, softened by warm wood accents. The menu balances comfort food and modern European influences, with standout dishes including a grass-fed beef cheeseburger with Dijon mayo and a comforting prawn bisque rigatoni pasta.
Desserts such as the dark chocolate ganache tart are equally considered, while drinks range from local craft brews to natural wines. Despite its modest scale, the kitchen delivers an experience echoing the finesse of Arcane’s fine dining ethos—minus the price tag.
Servo is open daily and already drawing a loyal crowd of discerning foodies and design lovers alike. It’s a welcome addition to Hong Kong’s dining scene, proving that high-quality cooking need not be exclusive.
