Services on the MTR’s Tseung Kwan O Line were halted during the evening rush hours on Thursday due to what was described as “a power supply disruption”.
Services between North Point and Po Lam and LOHAS Park were suspended, according to the MTR Corporation.
“A free MTR shuttle bus service is being arranged and should be operating at affected stations around 45 minutes after the rail service suspension, depending on road traffic conditions as it will take time to organise,” the railway operator said.
Officials urged commuters to consider using alternative transport routes.
