Sources said on Tuesday that Hong Kong police are seeking help from their mainland counterparts in the hunt for a suspect in a bank robbery the day before.
Officers said a Hang Seng Bank employee at the lender’s City One branch in Sha Tin was injured and cash equivalent to some HK$380,000 was taken on Monday.
She was conscious while being taken to hospital.
RTHK understands that the suspect, a 49-year-old man from Hong Kong, is believed to have left the SAR for the mainland.
