Strong Growth Across Southeast Asia, China, and Emerging Markets
HONG KONG, 10 April 2025 – J&T Global Express Limited (stock code: 01519.HK), a leading global logistics service provider, reported a total parcel volume of approximately 6.6 billion in the first quarter of 2025, marking a 31.2% year-over-year increase. The company’s average daily parcel volume reached 73.3 million, with all major markets delivering double-digit growth.
In Southeast Asia, J&T recorded a 50% year-on-year increase in parcel volume to 1.54 billion, or 17.1 million parcels per day. The company saw a 57.8% jump in average daily parcel volume during the Ramadan shopping festival, driven by strong collaboration with major e-commerce platforms. J&T also expanded partnerships with non-platform players like Sephora, Clarks, Zalora in Singapore, and Globe Telecom in the Philippines.
In China, J&T processed 4.98 billion parcels, a 26.5% year-on-year increase, with an average daily volume of 55.4 million. Enhanced service quality and refined management led to growing recognition from both e-commerce and non-platform customers, contributing to high-quality parcel growth.
In new markets such as Saudi Arabia and Mexico, parcel volume reached 76.6 million, up 19.4% year-on-year. The average daily volume was 850,000 parcels.
As of March 31, 2025, J&T operated 303 automated sorting lines (up 24 from year-end 2024), 5,600 line-haul vehicles in Southeast Asia (up 1,000), and 6,600 in China. The company also expanded its network to 19,200 outlets, including 10,200 in Southeast Asia.
