Following a visit to the Chengdu Planning Museum, the youth maker teams at Montpellier Primary School constructed detailed sand table models. Participants developed functional zones (Cultural, Residential, Educational, Healthcare, Commercial) within a community map, incorporating green spaces, waterways, terrain features, and transportation infrastructure.
Technology Implementation
Projects combined traditional materials (recycled cardboard, plastic bottles, wood) with renewable energy components (small solar panels, miniature wind turbines). The Unihiker K10 served as the central processing unit, interfacing with sensors and LED strips to enable automated functions.
