The expo opened today with a grand opening ceremony officiated by Ir. Poon Kwok Ying, Raymond, JP, Director of the Electrical & Mechanical Services Department of the HKSAR Government. At the heart of the programme is the Build4Asia Conference, themed “Pioneering Green Building Technologies and Digitalisation for Carbon Neutrality“. The conference highlights the role of sustainability and digitalisation in shaping the future of construction. Build4Asia and the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) – Hong Kong Chapter signed a Memorandum of Understanding to co-host World Workplace Asia Pacific — the region’s leading facility management conference in 2026. This strategic partnership will unite facility leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region to advance decarbonisation, pursue net-zero goals, and accelerate technology-driven transformation.
A Knowledge-Packed Three-Day Experience
More exciting events are set to follow, with Build4Asia Forum as one standout highlight on Day 1 afternoon. Asia Pacific Urban Energy Association (APUEA) from Thailand will take center stage, leading an inspiring panel discussion on the region’s energy transition.
